Calculator inputs stay in your browser
When you use a calculator, its input values, selected currency and units, saved scenarios, favorites, and recently used tools can be stored locally on your device using browser localStorage. This is not a login service or account database. HomeCostLab does not transmit calculator entries to an application database or analytics endpoint in the supplied implementation.
Hosting and access records
Our static hosting or infrastructure provider may process IP addresses, request paths, device information and security logs to deliver the site and prevent abuse. Exact retention and location depend on the production provider configuration. Check Cloudflare's relevant terms and privacy documents for details.
Advertising and affiliate links
Advertising and third-party tracking are disabled in the initial source configuration. If Google AdSense or other marketing vendors are enabled in the future, this policy and a compliant consent solution must be updated first as needed for visitor locations. Sponsored content and affiliate links will be distinctly disclosed. We do not currently collect contractor referral leads.
Managing local data
You can reset a tool's current inputs within the calculator. To erase stored scenarios and all other local preferences, clear this site's stored browser data or localStorage. Clearing browsing data may also erase other site preferences you want to keep.
Contact and changes
Use the contact page for the currently configured channel. We may revise this policy when hosting, analytics, advertising or lead-generation practices change; updated wording should be posted before material processing changes.
